ReGrow is our pilot agriculture product launched in the rural village of Panauti Municipality. A year back we started off in Kavre with Laxmi Mahila Savings and Credit Cooperative which is a women centric cooperative. We were able to disburse USD $11000 loan of Laxmi Cooperative’s capital using Aeloi’s digital token to 18 farmers (women entrepreneurs). Now, all the disbursed loans have been repaid within a year's time frame.
Our second and current partner for ReGrow is Mahila Sahayatra Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha which is a microfinance permitted by the Nepal Rastra Bank. Their vision is to provide inclusive finance and services to the marginalized and the vulnerable groups irrespective of their location. Our vision aligns with them because we also uplift the grassroot level economy from a bottom-up approach.
